Franklin Center Commons I & II is a mixed-use development in the heart of downtown Franklin. This is the largest smart growth development in the state of Massachusetts. It is a $28 million initiative to include a total of four buildings, three of which will be mixed use. Franklin Center Commons I

The FCC I complex includes three buildings on over 2 acres of land located between Summer and Cottage Streets off of East Central Street (Route-140).

Building One is located at 9 Summer Street and is comprised of office and retail space.

  • Salon Natalia, a day spa and salon. 
    Pretty is Pink, a teen and young womens clothing boutique.


Building Two is located at 15 Summer Street. It is exclusively residential condos with 27 units currently under construction. Building Three is 12-26 East Central Street (Route-140) and will be comprised of retail space on the first floor and 30 residential condos on floors 2 and 3. This building is currently scheduled to be completed by March 2010. The photo here is of the existing structure as of 3/31/08. The Red Ball that can be seen above the roof line in the photo to the left will be the height of the new building. Demolition of the existing structure is scheduled for March 2009.


Franklin Center Commons II

This building, located at 17-29 East Central Street, was completed in January 2008 and has twenty residental condos occupied by Dean College students.
